A visit to Destiny Garden Primary School
in Mombasa, Kenya

Picture
Since 2009, Destiny Garden Primary School has been providing many of Mombasa, Kenya's children with education. The school serves around just over 300 students between the ages of 4-15, and it survives on charitable donations. My family and I were privileged to visit the school during the summer of 2023 and I was deeply moved. The young students were so respectful and eager to learn. The staff were dedicated to their work of enriching the student's lives.
But the school is in need. Many of its students are orphans and economically disadvantaged. These children and their families often need help in obtaining the basic means of survival, such as food, clothing, shelter, and healthcare.

I spoke with the school administrators to find out exactly what Destiny Garden's students need and they explained that they lack a sufficient number of school text books, a printer, copy machines, school bags for the students, shoes for the students, P.E./sports uniforms for the students, as well as a safe playground for the younger children.

If you would like to donate even just a few dollars to help provide Destiny Garden's students with the educational tools and supplies they need to flourish, please donate to the school via the button below.
